I'd been programming Python for about a year before I wrote my first game in it. That was about a decade ago now. These days I'm still writing games in Python, but I also get to write Python in my day job too. I also run game programming challenges on a semi-regular basis, hoping to bring the enlightenment that comes from creating a game to as many people as I can.
